Free Breakfast

Submitted by Jay C. Treat on Wed, 05/23/2018 - 7:08 pm

Come have a good hot breakfast on the first and third Wednesday mornings each month! Totally free! 8:30-10:30 AM (unless the weather is treacherous — check our calendar).

The next free breakfast is December 4.

We always have scrambled eggs and bacon and/or sausage, and hash browns. The buffet table has boxes of cereal, orange juice, coffee, decaf coffee, hot water with tea bags, and cream & sugar. Sometimes we also have pancakes with syrup. The front door is open at 8:00 AM and the hot food is usually ready around 8:30. We serve until 10:30. Come sit awhile and have a good breakfast! All are welcome!

From Now Until Christmas

Advent has begun, a time of reflection and preparation for Christmas.

Advent offers our congregation some special opportunities: to share ornaments on our hallway Christmas tree, to share Christmas cards with one another, to go caroling, and to enjoy worship in a candlelight service on Christmas Eve. See more details.

May Advent and Christmas be a continual unfolding of blessing for you, with a renewal of hope, peace, joy, and love for the year to come.

Will Johnston is a producer and assistant director for The Africa Doc. Will will be part of a three-person documentary team traveling to Cameroon, Africa in January. There they will travel to the community where the non-profit organization, Caring Hands Africa will set up a medical clinic. The Africa Doc will document how the people of Toube in Cameroon live, the struggles that they endure on a regular basis, and how Caring Hands helps them. Let's support this project.
