Mike Phillips has let us know that his mother, Lorene, died early Wednesday morning, March 30, 2016.
Mike had been with her in North Carolina for the previous two weeks, and off and on throughout the winter. She had enjoyed several more months with her family and friends than her doctors had expected. Still, we know this is a great loss to all those who loved her. There will be a memorial service for Lorene in the next few weeks; however, the specific plans for that service are pending.
Please keep Mike and his sisters, Deborah and Meneta, in your prayers. May the deep faith that Lorene shared with her children, comfort and sustain them during these difficult days.
