Lent began on March 6 (Ash Wednesday) this year. On subsequent Wednesdays during Lent, churches in the Marple-Newtown area will hold Community Midweek Lenten Gatherings from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The gatherings will begin with a dinner of soup and bread followed by dessert. After dessert, we will gather in small groups composed of people from different congregations to share with each other something about our life journey and our walk with Jesus. Each evening will focus on a different theme of "journey". After conversation, there will be a devotional closing. Join us as we make the journey together.
