Welcome

Sympathy: Robert Blair

Our deepest sympathy is extended to Jacob Blair upon the death of his father, Robert Blair, yesterday at Lankenau Hospital. Bob collapsed during a physical therapy session, and was pronounced dead a short time later. His death is a bit of a shock, because indications were that he was making good progress since coming off the ventilator last Thursday.

Please keep Jacob and his family in your thoughts and prayers, during this time of loss and as he faces the many decisions that now must be made.

Summer Schedule Has Begun

Our summer schedule began on June 11 and continues until after Labor Day.

In our summer schedule, there is no Sunday School and our Sunday morning worship begins at 10:00 a.m., and ending at 11:00 a.m.

As usual, we provide bagels, donuts, and coffee at 9:30 a.m. to provide an informal time to visit. Dress in comfortable clothing for summer.

Collecting for Our Community Food Center

["I was hungry and you gave me food."]We collect non-perishable food and household supplies for our community food bank, St. Mark's Food Center. We can leave them in the large basket outside the pastor's office.

In June, the Food Center is especially looking for peanut butter and jelly.

St. Mark’s Food Center will gratefully accept the following nonperishable items: breakfast cereals (especially cereals that are kid-friendly), white or brown rice, soups, canned chicken and tuna, peanut butter, canned vegetables, pancake mix (just-add-water variety) and syrup, applesauce and fruit cups, enriched pasta, condiments (ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise), coffee, toothpaste, bar bath soap, diapers, sanitary napkins, and 2-ply toilet paper.
